A '''Foregrip''' is a grip on the front of a firearm that makes controlling recoil easier, and prevents burns from the barrel during firing. A vertical foregrip can also allow for easier horizontal movement of the firearm, as it creates a firmer grasping point than conventional hand guards. "Vertical grip that decreases a weapon's recoil."
— In-game description

The Vertical Grip is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It greatly increases the control a player has on a weapon's recoil as well as adding increased hip-fire accuracy. As such, it is extremely useful in allowing players to safely engage enemies more accurately from a distance.

With the release of Operation White Noise, a new model of the Vertical Grip arrives. While functionally similar to the regular Vertical Grip, this model is beige and is somewhat shorter. It is only available on the M762 and the BOSG.12.2.
